The Joy to Life Foundation will expand its efforts and will provide funds statewide for breast cancer screenings for women through the Alabama Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, Alabama Department of Public Health.
State Health Officer Dr. Scott Harris will join our partners Joy and Richard Blondheim in announcing the expansion that will prevent an interruption of services and allow as many women as possible to receive life-saving cancer screenings.
The news conference will be held in the Health Department’s Video Communications Studio, 9th Floor, RSA Tower, Suite 940 (201 Monroe St., Montgomery, AL).  A limited number of people will be allowed to attend in person due to social distancing guidelines in place – masks are required.
