On 8/3/2020, Daphne Police initiated an investigation into a complaint of Elder Abuse involving an 82-year-old victim at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope. The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance on 8/1/2020, after reportedly suffering a fall at her Daphne residence. Officials at the hospital contacted Daphne detectives, which led to the arrest of four suspects, who are listed below. The victim lived in the home with the defendants and all four are related to her. In addition to a number of bruises, open wounds, and broken bones, the victim was also extremely malnourished and dehydrated, weighing only 84 pounds when admitted to the hospital. The defendants were arrested at their residence, located in the 100 block of Pineridge Road in Daphne on August 13th, 2020. They are being held in the Baldwin County Jail on charges of Elder Abuse, which is a class A felony in Alabama. Mugshots will be attached to an email, along with this document.
