The match was neck and neck in the second half until the Bulldogs pulled away for a 68-60 lead with six minutes left in the game.  Unlike the first half the Falcons went cold from three allowing UU to push their lead to 13 points, that forced UM head coach Danny Young to call a timeout with four minutes left to go. Montevallo struggled to bounce back from the Union run resulting in the seven point loss.
