Wilson Honored on D2CCA All-South Region Team

HUNTSVILLE | The men’s soccer D2CCA All-South Region Teams were announced on Tuesday, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s Ethan Wilson earned a spot on the Second Team following another strong season.
This represents Wilson’s second career D2CCA honor.
Wilson served as UAH’s defensive leader this season, finishing the year with 1,482 minutes as he played each minute of 15 of the team’s 16 contests, and under his watch, the Chargers posted three clean sheets and three other games in which the team gave up just one goal. The Nashville, Tennessee, native also contributed offensively, scoring once and adding two assists.
Earlier this postseason Wilson was also honored as a First Team All-Gulf South Conference selection. 
Wilson concludes his career as UAH’s all-time record holder in games played with 75 and also in starts with 74, and he ends his tenure in the Rocket City with four goals and six assists for 14 points.
