No. 20 UAH Set for Four Games in Five Days

HUNTSVILLE | The No. 20 University of Alabama in Huntsville men’s basketball team is set for a busy stretch at home, taking on four different opponents in five days prior to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Saturday and Sunday will see the Chargers host the Bill Penney Classic, taking on Columbus State at 4 p.m. on the first day before battling Fisk at 4 p.m. for the second contest.
Other games at the Classic include West Georgia and Montevallo at 2 p.m. on Saturday in addition to Columbus State and Montevallo at the same time on Sunday.
Following the weekend, UAH will take on Southeastern Baptist on Monday at 7 p.m. and then close out the busy stretch with a visit from Oakwood at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Chargers enter the slate of contests with a 2-2 record after dropping a pair of games at the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic to open the season and responding with key region wins over Saint Leo and Tampa last weekend down in Florida.
Redshirt freshman Chaney Johnson is pacing the Chargers so far this season offensively as he is making shots at an impressive 72.7 percent clip – including going 12-for-15 from 3-point land – to average 20.3 points per contest, and he is also second on the team in rebounding with 5.8 boards per game.
CJ Williamson leads the Chargers on the glass with 7.5 rebounds per contest to go along with his scoring average of 14.8 points per game, and he has also handed out a team-high 16 assists.
