Women’s Hoops Host Two Games this Weekend

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The West Alabama women’s basketball team is back in action in Pruitt Hall Gymnasium two times this weekend. 

The Tigers host Southeastern Baptist on Friday, November 19. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. UWA then has a quick turnaround and hosts Carver Baptist on Saturday, November 20 with a tip-off time at 4 p.m. 

Heading into the weekend, the Tigers are 2-1. Southeastern Baptist brings an 0-9 record to Livingston. This is the second meeting between West Alabama and Southeastern Baptist. In their first meeting in 2019, UWA defeated the Lady Chargers 85-45. 

After three games, UWA’s offense is led by Dent. The Birmingham, Alabama native is averaging 16.3 points per game and 10.3 rebounds.

There will be no admission charge for the game. Fans are encouraged to social distance. Doors will open one hour before tipoff.
