Lady Rams get past Badgers, 75-65

MOBILE, Ala. (November 16, 2021) – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women’s basketball team took a 75-65 non-conference loss to the University of Mobile (UM) Lady Rams on Tuesday evening at H. Austill Pharr Gymnasium.
The Lady Rams (4-1) were paced by D’Mya Ferguson with 24 points as Mobile shot 49.3% (33-67) from the field including 36.4% (4-11) from 3-point range. The Rams out-rebounded the Badgers 29-26.
Tyashia Bostick led the Badgers with 23 points while Ariel Thompson scored 13 and Brandy Lee added 12 points. SHC shot 56.9% overall and 42.9% (3-7) from long distance, but suffered 21 turnovers.
The Badgers (0-3) will visit NCAA Division I foe the Nicholls State University (NSU) Colonels (1-1) in Thibodeaux, La. for their final exhibition game of the season in David R. Stopher Gymnasium on Friday at 11:30 a.m.
