PANTHERS COMPETE AT NCAA REGIONALS

Spartanburg, S.C. – The Birmingham-Southern men’s cross country had four runners compete at the NCAA Regionals: Beck Wilkes, Gavin Thornhill, Griffin Riner, and Carl Albright. While the season has come to an end, the Panthers left it all on the course finishing with standout performances.
 
Carl Albright recorded a time of 31:52 beating his old PR for the fifth time this season. Albright’s old time was 32:21 at the SAA Championship. Gavin Thornhill recorded a time of 28:40 beating his old PR of 28:40 at the SAA Championship. Griffin Riner had a season best with a time of 29:52. Beck Wilkes recorded a time of 38:22, finishing in the top 100 of the meet.
