LIVINGSTON, Ala. – West Alabama women’s soccer battles West Georgia Thursday, Nov. 11 in the Gulf South Conference Championship Tournament semifinals round. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. at Ashton Brosnaham Park in Pensacola, Florida.
UWA’s offense is led by Dana Cruz, Anele Komani, and Kaylah Butterworth. Cruz has scored seven goals and passed one assist for 15 points. The Fort Walton Beach, Florida native has taken 22 shots with 15 of them being on target, and has recorded four game-winners this season.
Komani has scored five goals and passed one assist for 11 points. The London, England native has taken 43 shots with 20 of them being on target.
Butterwroth leads the GSC in assists with 10. The Mary Esther, Florida native has scored one goal for 12 points.
UWA goalie Tabitha Weldon owns the most shutouts in the GSC with a total of nine. The Orange Park, Florida native has recorded 66 saves in her 16 matches played this season.

Tickets are required and can be purchased online here or can be bought at the gate. Tickets for an individual game are $6 for adults, while children under the age of 12 are free. Tickets for a weekend pass (Thursday, Nov. 11-Sunday, Nov. 14) are $11.
The winner of the match will advance to Saturday’s championship match. Kickoff for the championship match will be at noon at Ashton Brosnaham Park.
