AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn defenders Zakoby McClain and Colby Wooden earned Southeastern Conference weekly honors for their roles in the Tigers’ top 10 win vs. Ole Miss, the SEC said Monday.

McClain, who made 14 tackles and recorded two sacks in Auburn’s 31-20 victory, was named Defensive Player of the Week, along with Georgia’s Nolan Smith.

Wooden was named Defensive Lineman of the Week. The redshirt sophomore made five tackles against the Rebels, including four solos. He also registered a quarterback hurry.

It’s Wooden’s second consecutive game to earn SEC D-line honors. He also received the recognition after recording two sacks in Auburn’s 38-23 win at Arkansas on Oct. 16.
