Day, Hill and LaCroix Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Distinctions

HUNTSVILLE | The 2021 CoSIDA Men’s Track & Field and Cross Country Academic All-District Teams have been announced, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville is represented by Jay Day, Garrison Hill and Harold Lacroix as members of the team from District 5.

This is Hill’s second career Academic All-District award, while both Lacroix and Day earn the honor for the first time.
 
District 5 for the purpose of the men’s track & field and cross country team is comprised of institutions from the South Region, and voting is conducted by the region’s athletics communications professionals who are members of CoSIDA.
 
Both Day and Lacroix were members of the 2020 GSC Cross Country Championship squad, while all three of these honorees also were members of the 2021 GSC Outdoor Track & Field Championship team.
 
The Division II and III CoSIDA Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020-21 Divisions II and III Academic All-America programs.
