NEW ORLEANS – After recording two shutouts and five saves in two starts over the weekend, University of South Alabama freshman Jaidy Gutierrez Campos was voted the Sun Belt Conference women’s soccer Defensive Player of the Week Tuesday.
The Mexico City, Mexico, native earned the award for the first time in her career, and is the first Jaguar this season to pick up the weekly honor.
