BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the first time since 2012 the Birmingham-Southern football team is nationally ranked. 

The Panthers jumped into the rankings this week, being slotted at No. 24 in the country. This is the second highest-ranking in program history. The Panthers are currently 5-0 and are averaging 47.4 points per game. BSC is also limiting opponents to 7.6 points per game over the five-game win streak. 

Joining BSC in the rankings is SAA opponent Trinity University (Texas) who is ranked No. 23. To see the complete top 25 rankings, click here. 

The Panthers are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 16 when they travel to Danville, Ky. to take on Centre College.
