MOBILE, Ala. – The Tuskegee University volleyball program battled hard against two high-caliber conference foes but were unable to breakthrough, falling in straight sets both matches.

Tuskegee Top Performers
 

  • Erin Jackson led the offense for Tuskegee, topping the club in kills for both matches (15 total) and being the only Tigerette with double-digit kills in the match against Central State (10).

 

  • Jazmine Green cracked double-figures in digs during both contests, fronting Coach Perkins’ team with ten against the Marauders and 11 versus Kentucky State.

 

  • Kiana Wilcher averaged four assists per set (24 total) plus notching nine digs  and two aces onto her stat line.

 

  • Chase Holloway tied with Jackson for the team-best in kills opposite the Thorobreds with five.

The Crimson and Old Gold will get to play in front of the home faithful for the first time after 16 consecutive road/neutral matchups when it hosts Miles College on Monday, October 11 at 6 p.m. inside the Daniel “Chappie” James Center.
 
The match against the Lady Bears will double as the squad’s home opener as well as Senior Night for both Crystal Hall and Jazmine Green, the only two senior members of the 2021 volleyball roster.
