The Birmingham-Southern Football will take to the road this Saturday, Oct. 9 as they travel to Conway, Ark. to take on their second conference game of the season. The Panthers will come into this game a perfect 4-0 overall and 1-0 in SAA. The Warriors will come into the contest 1-3 overall and 0-1 in SAA.

A look at the BSC Panthers
This weekend will mark the eighth all-time matchup against Hendrix. Birmingham-Southern is currently 2-5 against the Warriors all-time with their last win coming in 2018.
The rushing attack continues to be lethal for the Panthers. BSC is averaging 342.8 yards per game and a stellar 7.6 yards per rush. The dynamic pair of Robert Shufford and Tavion Fleming have combine for 102 carries for 894 yards so far this season. You can’t forget about Jon Lewis who has averaged over 11 yards per rush and added three scores on the season.
A great running game opens up the passing game, and that is exactly what has been done this season. Trey Patterson has completed just under 60 percent of his passes and thrown for six scores over the Panthers four games.
The defense has been exceptional this season limiting opponents to eight points per game and a 32.2 percent third down conversion rate. The defense is led by Connor West, Court Coley and Seth Gable who all have 25+ tackles on the season.
A look at the Hendrix Warriors
The Warriors come into this matchup with an 1-3 overall record. Hendrix is averaging 37.9 points per game against the Panthers.
The Warrior offense is led by freshmen quarterback Parker Wells. Wells has played in three of the four games completing 63% of his passes with seven touchdowns and one interception. Wells is also averaging 171 yards per game. The primary target for the Warriors is Chris Childress who has caught 20 passes for 339 yards and eight touchdowns.
Opponents are averaging 43.3 points per game and 503.5 yards per game against the Hendrix defense. The defense has four interceptions and one fumble recovery over their four games. The Warrior defense is led by linebacker Mitchell Johnson, defensive back Jacob Bremmon, and linebacker Seth Hakanson who all have 20+ tackles on the season and at least one sack.
