The third set started differently than the first two, with the two teams going back and forth until the set was tied at 7-7. Three errors from Sewanee and a kill from Alyssa Coats gave the Panthers the momentum to take the lead 11-7. Leah Nielsen joined in on the momentum with two kills that boosted the Panthers 16-8. Birmingham-Southern made a push to take the third set with a 5 point run. Kennedy Dickens started it off with a kill before adding back to back block assists and Alyssa Coats ended it all with a kill, the Panthers taking the final set 25-12.
