Alabama Football Begins Practice for Ole Miss

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team returned to the practice field Monday afternoon following its 63-14 victory over Southern Miss. The Crimson Tide spent the two-hour session in helmets and shorts on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.

Prior to Monday’s practice, Bryce Young was named to the Davey O’Brien Award’s Great 8 list for his performance in week four. Young completed 20 of his 22 pass attempts for 313 yards and five touchdowns. The winner of the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the Week honor will be named Tuesday morning. 

Alabama is set to square off against No. 12/12 Ole Miss at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 2. The matchup is scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS.
