PANTHERS FINISH SIXTH; ALBRIGHT BEATS OLD PR

Montevallo, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men’s cross-country team competed in their first 8k event of the year at University of Montevallo at Falcon Classic.
 
All runners finished in the top 60 and one runner hit their personal record, Carl Albright
 
Albright recorded a time of 33:36.8 beating his old PR of 34:01.0 at the SAA Cross Country Championships in 2019. Albright finished 59th in the event.
 
Beck Wilkes recorded the best of all five BSC runners recording a time of 28:34.0 and finishing inside the top 30. Holden Snyder, Griffin Riner, and Gavin Thornhill finished 47th, 48th, and 52nd respectively. 
 
The Panthers compiled a total of 163 points and finished with an average time of 31:17 placing them in 6th for the event.
