OPENING ROUND BRACKET REVEALED | Talladega College Athletics

For the 3rd straight year, the Tornadoes have qualified for the Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series Opening Round.  The Tornadoes head to Miami Gardens Bracket as the 4th seed.  


Talladega the #4 seed in the bracket will play Thomas, GA the #5 seed in game 1 of the opening round.

The Talladega and Thomas will be joined in the bracket by top-seeded and No. 6-ranked St. Thomas, FL, second-seeded William Jessup, CA and third-seeded Bryan, TN.

The Opening Round consists of nine five-team double-elimination tournaments across the country that will be conducted from May 13-16 with the winner of each bracket advancing to the 63rd Avista-NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho. The World Series is a 10-team double-elimination tournament and will be played from May 24-31 at Harris Field on the campus of Lewis-Clark State College. Last season Southeastern defeated Freed-Hardeman 6-3 to earn their first NAIA National Championship.
