Talladega, AL – The Tornadoes are proud to announce 3-Year Lady Rams Captain, Dana Paye, as the newest addition to their lineup! As a dynamic competitor who is well-versed in every position on the field, she was a force to be reckoned with during her time at Carver High School. It seems only fitting that she’d become a Talladega College Tornado in the next phase of her career.

Paye has been a starter for all four years as a Lady Ram at Carver High. With every season, she gave her all and never failed to impress. In her freshman year, Paye scored the winning penalty kick in the last game of the season, leading the Lady Rams to the 1st Round of the AHSAA playoffs. As a sophomore, and new captain, Paye was among the top players on the team with 5 goals. In her junior year, Paye led the Rams to the 1st Round of the AHSAA playoffs once more. As a CB, she sealed an airtight defense and led defensive tackles, commanding no less than the best in the city from her team. In her final year as a Lady Ram, Paye made a lasting impression. She attacked aggressively, scoring 8 goals in 8 games. 6 of these goals were against Jasper and city rival Parker. As a defender, Paye led tackles and held #10 State Ranked Pelham to 1 goal.

Paye blazed her own trail as a Lady Ram, becoming one of the most renowned players Carver Soccer has ever had. Her tireless dedication, strong leadership abilities, and thorough passion for the game could never be questioned or forgotten. In agreeance, Talladega College Women’s Soccer Coach Joseph Tibbs exclaimed ” We’re so excited to add Dana to our roster. She is a strong attacking personality that possesses exceptional defensive qualities as well. She will be an integral part of our midfield this fall. We’re so grateful to have this local Birmingham standout join the lady tornadoes!”

Paye will make an incredible addition to the team, and the Tornadoes welcome her wholeheartedly.
