Women’s Soccer | Sat, May 2, 2020

Talladega, AL – Kimberly Rigsby, an exceptional goalkeeper and graduate of Foley High school, has signed with the Tornadoes! Born and raised in Foley, AL, Rigsby exemplifies what it means to be a Tornado at her core. She plays an active role in her community, is a competitive athlete, and is committed to improving herself every day.

During her years at Foley High School, Rigsby participated in the Link Club, Theatre Club, and Key Club, all while dominating in the classroom and on the field. In addition to playing soccer for her high school team, Rigsby participated in club soccer with the Gulf Coast Rangers Football Club in Daphne, AL. Though Rigsby has played soccer for 11 years and counting, she also has experience as a track and field athlete. Her involvement and success in these activities demonstrate her versatility and tenacity.

Talladega College Women’s Soccer Coach, Joseph Tibbs, attests to this by stating “Kimberly is a well-rounded student-athlete that is committed to improving her craft daily. Her athletic qualities will allow her to be a competitive force on the field. Having competed in soccer, track and field, she has the required skill set to be a solid goalkeeper for us.”

Coach Tibbs, and the rest of Talladega College Soccer staff and athletes, welcome Kimberly Rigsby as a valuable addition to the team.
