Softball Announces New Assistant Coach

Montgomery, Ala. – Huntingdon College Softball Head Coach Casey Chrietzberg recently announced the newest assistant coach, Hanaria Qualls. 

Qualls earned her Bachelor of Science in Sports Management in 2016 from Faulkner University, where she played softball all four years. She earned a Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Alabama State University in 2018. 

Before coaching at Huntingdon College, Hanaria was an assistant coach at Bryan College, leading infield and hitting. She also coached travel ball with the Tennessee Fury, helping 17 athletes to play at the college level.

“Coach Qualls will be a great addition to the coaching staff. Her experience at Bryan College as well as her own playing experience will bring a new perspective and excitement to the team,” Head Coach Casey Chrietzberg said. 

 Huntingdon Softball finished with a 16-18 record, 11-4 in conference.
