TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama baseball’s 2021 recruiting class was rated as the No. 8 class in the country by Baseball America, the outlet announced Wednesday morning.
The 2021 class is the Crimson Tide’s second-highest rated group of recruits since 2001, trailing only the 2012 class that was ranked fourth. Alabama has now signed a top-15 class in three of the last four seasons under head coach Brad Bohannon, including the No. 15 class in both 2018 and 2019.
Alabama’s 2021 class features 19 newcomers, including 12 high school signees to go with seven transfers from the junior college ranks. The Tide inked 13 pitchers, three catchers, two infielders and one outfielder in the most recent group.
