Alabama Soccer Hosts Samford in Thursday Night Matchup

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama soccer team (3-1-0) closes a three-game home stretch at the Alabama Soccer Stadium Thursday with the Samford Bulldogs (1-2-1) at 7 p.m. CT.

  • Samford opened the season with a 2-1 loss to Auburn and a 1-1- tie against Middle Tennessee before recording its first win of the year with a 2-1 victory against UAB  
  • Mary Raymond leads the team in points with four, tallying one goal and two assists
  • Including Raymond, five Bulldogs have scored a goal this season
  • Goalkeeper Morgan McAsian has earned the start in all four of the team’s games, tabbing 15 saves
